About delays
Last week I was at the train station and saw this big screen with a blue background stating "This screen informs you of possible delays"Since it didn't say anything else than that, it did obviously NOT inform me of any possible delays. I spent several minutes wondering and arguing with myself whether a screen - or any medium for that matter - actually could inform somebody of an event that did not occur.
(there were no delays - now you already know I was neither in Italy nor France) After some further thought I concluded that the only way the screens message could be logically correct was if the message itself was the cause of the delay. That was when I realized that by now, I had missed my train... < previous - next >
